Cabinet card of a young woman in what appears to be mourning attire although maybe a bit too fancy for mourning it could just very well be her”little black dress”? Her black dress has been adorned with meticulously sewn jet beaded appliquéd and set with a large brooch. We can also see where a piece of the beaded appliqued got caught on the buttons of her dress.
A beautiful example of late 19th century fashion.
Thanks again to M.P. for help on this one
A young musician poses with his brass instrument possibly a Tuba?He was most likely part of a much larger brass ensemble.

I found 2 pages to an album that included this tintype as well as individual CDVs and Tintypes of this family along with relatives and friends.I will include more of those photos into this post in the future as well as a clearer photo of the family above.
Here is a family photographed by a traveling photographer or a friend of the family who was skilled in the art.
The Man is holding what appears to be a dead baby but the infant look to be sleeping I doubt that he would have such a great smile if that was the case. The family looks to have been photographed outdoors and most likely on the side of the house where this family lived.
