Friends or brothers?
Behind the image in the case is a drawing,pressed flowers and a written inscription from 1922 probably from the original owner and relative of the two men in the ambrotype.
This photo could have been made in the 1850s.1847 may have been a bit early.This image is amazingly sharpe and just beautiful.
